Luan Krasniqi

Luan Krasniqi is a German pro-boxer, originally from Albania. He is loved by Albanian boxing fans.

Krasniqi dominated amateur boxing winning bronze medal in 1996 Atlanta Olympics. He was silver medalist of 1995 World Championship. At last, he became heavyweight champion of Europe in amateur. Luan Krasniqi took his first steps to pro in Fall 1997

He pointed out Sinan Şamil Sam on February 2004 and won EBU champion in pro. And he has had a chance of winning world championship against Lamon Brewster. But, Brewster TKO’d Krasniqi defending his WBO title. Luan Krasniqi beat heavyweight contender Brian Minto in 2007, winning WBO inter-continental title. But he lost the title against Tony Thompson in a heavyweight bout on July 2007.
